Be careful out there!

I just received a bogus "second chance offer" for Wints' white 4003. Looked very convincing except for the "from" e-mail address.

That is the beauty of this forum. We are all much better informed as a group than we would be acting on our own.

Every notable Ric I've bid on, I've gotten a 'Second chance offer.' Even from someone that said he had extra 4001CS's laying around.

Actually, I got a "want it now" offer from someone during my 4080 buy. It looked fairly legit, but was just a scam of course.

Ugh! I very briefly had a "want it now" posted and was bombarded with scams.

I got one on a 1957 4000 that I bid $13,000 for. I tried to string it out as far as I could, but he must have got nervous because when I asked for the wire transfer information he never got back to me.
