Why is it that I am seeing a few more dealers notate "No Returns" on Rickenbacker products. I remember GC did this a few years back. Is this because RIC won't take a return?

I think this is because Ric will only honor the warranty to the original purchaser. If the guitar is sold and then returned, it can't be warranted, as Ric considers it a used instrument. The store would then be unable to resell it with a warranty, which devalues the instrument.
There could be other reasons. I'm not sure how strict other manufacturers are when it comes to their warranties, or why the same principle wouldn't apply, but apparently it doesn't.
