Anyone Want To Try A Crack At This One2?

Post by royclough »

here's a interesting one. First and possibly last recording by a duo late 59, the male half went on to record a solo single under another pseudonym and that bombed too.

About 18 month later a demo was sent to a record company under his own name essentially in hope of getting someone else to record it, record company issued it and it became a big hit stateside, eventually act became massive on both sides of Atlantic in sixties.

Don't know what happened to the female half of the duo.

A bit of a give away I am afraid Roy. Gene Pitney and Ginny Arnell. A great bit of history though.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
