The Blueburst is finally here!!

Post by atomic_punk »

Well, after waiting 14 months or so, it has arrived. I am feeling like a little kid at Christmas! I opened the box to take a peek, but the case was a little cold, I'm waiting for it to warm up before I open it.
Pictures to follow, of course, and this one DOES have the walnut wings and tone selector, according to Chris at Pick of the Ricks.

Alright! Maybe I'll just have to wait another year to get my BlueBurst Cheyenne! No biggie, I've got plenty of others (7) right now. Welcome back to Rickworld, Steve!

I'm guessing you're happy about this? Image

I'd be pretty excited too, knowing that my wait was over... I got impatient waiting for my kids and they were 9 months each!! And you don't have to put the bass through college, either.... Image
What do you mean the Bass is too loud???

Mine is NOT the one posted on POTR's site, that one is a different serial number, and the Made in America sticker is crooked on that one, mine is straight, so it is staying on. Pictures during lunch today Image
I played it for a few seconds since the office is abuzz with excitement, people wanting to see it....Oh MY.....what a great feeling and sounding instrument!

AS promised, pictures!
This thing is just gorgeous....worth the wait, for sure.
I don't think I got any keys, though...are they in the plastic bag?
The fretboard wood is just so pretty too, it's lighter than any one I have had before. Can't wait to get her home and plug her in!

I'm extremely happy, and love the walnut wings as well Image Also loving the "new Rick smell" as well, first time I have smelled it. They need to put that in spray form Image
