Steve, it sure is. It now plays like a dream thanks to your help. The surround in this pic is the old one. I can't tell you how thrilled I am with it now. It is my #1 gigging, playing, recording bass.

I just heard a tape of my band when I had the '72 -- sounds better than I remember. If I buy the bass above to "get back" to the early '70s, will my hair come back, too?
