I don't have a strong feeling about the headstock either way myself. I just wanted a Macca spec bass and that is what I got. If I couldn't get a C64, I would have wanted a V63 because I prefer the "dot" position markers. I just wish Rick would make the lefty 4003's with the "shark fin" position markers reversed so they would be correct for a lefty.

I agree Rich. I didn't have any feelings about the headstock until I heard so many opinions here against it. I still don't care much, though I suppose a "normal" one would be cool. I just like having a bass like Paul's, which is why I bought it in the first place.

I have a C64FG too. I like the reversed headstock on it. It looks cool to me, I also have a V63MG so I can go either way; they both look fine to me.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

Jared, man you are killing me!

I'm gonna have to install a seat belt on my chair before I see any more of your posts!

BTW, is that pot a reissue?
I'm just happy to be here.

Thanks Rich. I think that's the only one I've seen.
