Vintage Oven Knobs

Why aren't these control knobs available in black and silver? When I got my 4003Mapleglo 10 years ago, I was hell-bent to get a set of those oven knobs. But then I backed off when I found out they came only in the brown and gold color combination. Would anyone else here at the forum like to have these in black and silver?

Jeffrey: While I see your point of view, I suspect that the number of people who would like vintages oven knobs, outside of their limited Model 325 application, is few and far between. It would be a cool look, however. Let's see how popular the idea is as this threat develops. In short, outside of the Model 325 arena, the limited "range" of application of these knobs may render them extinct at some point.

Come to think of it, some black and silver 'cooker' knobs would look great! On my Jetglo 360V64...

The 650 series chrome knobs look great on my 300 series Rics. I imagine that the 650 series gold knobs would look great on the gold guard of a 660.

The tidal wave of silence on the black & silver oven knobs is deafening. This is NOT a good sign.................
