Hmmm, I've never seen a guard like this one!

I'd like to find a nice wood grained one!

Cheap Trick is alive and well and rocking all over the world right now touring America with Aerosmith! As a matter of fact, they are in East Lansing, MI tonight!
I'd never put that guard on MY bass, but it's nice to see CT referenced any time!

Hey Steve:

Are they really? With AEROSMITH no less? I didn't know they were back together. Cool!

With the risk of sounding like an "old Curmudgeon ", Boy, I can tell you some Aerosmith stories back when I was just a lad, but it's not for posting on a public forum.

Let's just say, I knew them BEFORE they made it big...I used to spend a few summers in NH where Steve's family owned a cabin rental place. Interesting times!

Man, I must be getting old, I'm starting to sound like my Grandfather once did!

Yeah, they're touring together but I heard that they have cancelled quite a few dates lately because Steven Tyler has some sort of vocal cord infection. Heard that this morning. Hopefully not too many more dates will be cancelled. That's a good twinbill.

They had to cancel tonight's show in East Lansing Image
The new tracks rock! I actually like "Welcome to the World" more than the single! Image

For those wondering what the pickguard might look like on a 4003 (Sorry, too much time and Photoshop on my hands):

...and for Tony (for the love of God please pay the extra few dollars for the flame-retardant finish!)

You're right about that, Jeffrey. In my mind they are one of the top 10 American rock bands. I know a lot of people wouldn't agree, but, hey, that's why I have seen them 52 times...because they ROCK. Image

The first time I had ever heard of Cheap Trick was back in November '77 when I went to a Rush concert and Cheap Trick opened the show. It was also the first time I had ever seen a 12 string bass. I had 2nd row seats, so I had a great view of the bands and their gear. The next day I had to buy a Cheap Trick album. The first album I got was In Color and Black and White.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
