Was there in October with Graham Griffiths. (You can recognise the shop from that photo? I suppose the wall of lefties gives it away).

I do not think that George ever used a Mando Guitar despite the claims I have read by the people who reissued them. What you are hearing on Girl is an acoustic 12, the Framus. That guitar is all over Rubber Soul.
