Hmm. I'm interested to see how it looks really. I have been slowly warming to the 4005 look and it may peruade me to buy the real thing.

Ever since seeing Lefy's one I have been going for the look more. I have always been a 4003 kind of guy but, hey, I'm open to offers

What is the name of that company that makes a bass quite like this one? There was a thread about a year ago. I wouldn't mind getting a 4005 look alike.

Charly - you might be thinking of Waterstone guitars perhaps? They have a hollowbody design that I believe the owner once said was inspired by the 4005.
