Output oddness
My much anticipated pickup has arrived from Portugal and I can't wait to put it through its paces, but I've run into a roadblock:
When running out of the standard output, I get sound as expected in each of the three selector positions ONLY when a cord (I tried several) is part-way inserted. If plugged in fully, I only get the bridge p'up in the middle position and nada in the neck position.
Funny thing is, when using the ROS output, the p'ups output correctly. I made sure I was plugging into the right jacks, but am dumbfounded. All the wires look to be solidly in place. Any ideas?

That would be a stereo jack if it works part way inserted. Look at a stereo plug and a mono plug, and you should be able to deduce what is happening. When fully inserted into a stereo jack that is not wired for stereo, the other pickup would be at ground potential. IMHO. I could be misinterpreting the issue.

You know it, Sergio! Ok, here are those pics:

In in top picture, when the cord is inserted as shown, the selector works fine. Again, when it's inserted all the way, only the bridge pickup works. ??
Here's a shot of it back in the body with the wires going over to the ROS jack. Thanks!
