Thanks Roy for checking. That may be the version I heard back then but I don't recall the name Jay Barry at all.

Thanks for this thread, Roy.... interesting how the Beatle version somehow has that hard-to-define "energy" when the Joe Brown version is so much more tame.

here's something I didn't know....
"Harrison married for a second time to Olivia Trinidad Arias, in September 1978. The ceremony took place at their home, with Joe Brown acting as best man. They had one son, Dhani Harrison, born the previous month."

To many people Joe Brown was the unexpected hit of the Concert Of George, he did a poignant version of I'll See You in my Dreams and a couple of other songs.
