I have received an email from Brazilian fan wanting to have an email address for Midnight Oil. Can anyone from down under assist?

Peter, according to a friend of mine, who is an MO nut, there hasn't been an official email address to any of the members since Garrett went into politics. But he did give me this unofficial site which might be of help, but then again, it might not.

There is a government email addresses for Peter Garrett:

[email protected]

or his web site:

www.petergarrett.com.au

It's all political blurb, though - nothing to do with the Oils.

Oh, BTW... until i bothered to check the lyric on the web, it sounded to me: "The time has come to save the sphere"...

The Oils have some great songs!

'One Country' - 'Blue Sky Mine' - 'Earth and Sun and Moon' - 'Capricornia' - and my favorite 'Stars Of Warburton'

I saw them on the Diesel & Dust tour twice. The first time was when the album first came out & they played a hall with about 2000 capacity. The next time was after they had a hit song in Canada and they played an arena to about 10,000 people. For the encore, Garrett comes out and says "Most of you won't know any of these songs" and they played a bunch of stuff from 10,9,8.. Awesome.

They were a great band and as you say, Greg, awesome live. It was worth the ticket price just to see Garrett's gyrations!!

I saw them on "Diesel and Dust" and then again on their last tour a couple of years ago. Their Diesel and Dust show was relentless, one song after another. The last show was a little different; a little slower paced and quieter. Older but still rockin'.
Listen to that sustain!
