My advice is to not take up Christian philosopy, Justin!
Welcome from me and us other 'Down Under' members. I'm sure most of us work but when the boss is out or his door is closed.......... if you know what I mean.
Brian is right about the benefits of working your own business--I work from home, too and the Forum is usually on in the background.... But the "Boss" is never too happy with me when he catches it on my screen, LOL! ....I call it mental therapy.
"Once I've held and played the best, baby, I won't settle for less!"
Welcome, Justin, from the one who works for a living...
Working from home is nice, even if you work for a Man... no need to wake up at 6 am (hmmm... theoretically... i mean for work purposes...), but, on the other hand, no weekend (as it is in my case...). Oh well... i'm not completely sincere, of course - it's rather "weekend at your own will"...
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.
Hi Justin....appreciate your advice and story. There's no way I'd take my guitar unless I could carry it on the plane with me like you did and I guess I'm not convinced they'd let me do that....I'm not good looking like you are. But I'd rather be ugly and retired anyway! I can play 12hrs a day if I want
Yea, the life of the graduate student, though glamorous, leaves little time for recreation, but I still try to get at least an hour of quality time with my babies once a day. It is essential to the survival of the soul.
Aitch, I'm a grad student. My opinion of Christian philosophy should speak for itself.
