Fulltone bass-drive settings?

Fulltone bass-drive settings?
Got my fulltone last night and I have been playing with various settings.
For distortion I tend to like the "vintage setting" (that's 90's vintage with lots of mids) with tone around 10-11 o'clock and overdrive around 2 o'clock and boost at full.
The comp-cut is a little more of a mystery to me, but it appears to enhance the high end of my tone a bit... but I get very little from it as far as obvious distortion... mostly volume boost (I will fool with it to push my tube amp into natural overdrive at the next jam though).
Anyway... I looked back at some past posts on the fulltone and saw some of Bobcat's settings. Just wondering where you folks like to have it set.

I'll know better after tonight's show... playing in my bedroom at "wimp" volumes through my 15W Peavey is not a fair assessment.
But the build feels top notch. I love the fact that you get 2 levels of distortion out of it (so with my setup I have clean, mild dirt, grind, and then insane fuzz with the boss). I do like the subtle sound enhancement the "comp cut" gives me in the overdrive channel, but then that makes the boost channel unusable. However I can easily flip between comp cut and vintage between songs with a flip of a switch... so for clean songs I can put on comp cut...

I never use the comp cut setting - I've never been able to get it to sound good, and I prefer heavier overdrive sounds anyway. I usually set the volume around 9:00, tone close to 3:00, and the overdrive between 1:00 and 3:00. I tend not to use the boost - it gets a little too saturated for me. Also, should point out that this is for recording. I don't get to play live much unfortunately...
I've used a bunch of bass distortions in the past couple of years, and I think the Fulltone is the best, with the Budda Phat Bass a close second. I like the ZVex Woolly Mammoth too, but it's pretty much an entirely different effect.

So I had the pedal at our show on friday and I can't say I used it much. The 72' through my Traynor tube amp just sounded so pure without it. Pedals are nice, even boutique ones... but nothing beats the sound of a ric running through a tube amp that is being played at show level volumes.
My god that amp was a good buy... as was my ric. Match made in heaven.

I am gaining an appreciation for my fulltone bassdriver pedal in the comp cut mode. The mild compression really does even out the sound and give it some tonal enhancement (at the cost of slight increase in buzz). I use the overdrive channel with tone on max and overdrive on max.
Running my boss overdrive through the fulltone also takes a lot of the mush out of the boss distortion tone. Very nice
