Speaking of new presents...(4001V63)

Post by gearhed289 »

After several weeks of "should I/shouldn't I", I finally pulled the trigger and bought Jim Glen's V63. It's an Oct. '92 - four months newer than my 4001CS. Great guy, great bass, great price! I can't say enough good things.
I'd love to post a pic, but I STILL can't figure out how to make the file small enough without needing a magnifying glass to look at it.

Tom...congrats and, if you like, email me the pics and I'll resize and post them for you (it only takes me a few seconds with a program I use on my Apple).

Thanks Brian, but I think I got it. Found an easier program than Photoshop to do what I needed.

I noticed that the dot inlays look like plastic rather than the pearly ones on my 4003S and 4001CS. Is that normal? Thanks.

Nice bass Tom.
I can't believe Jim actually parted with it.
Buy it before someone else does.

Congrats Tom! That's a nice looking V!
1992 was a good year for V63's.

Crikey Tom, that's a great buy! I'm amazed Jim sold it. I would've loved it myself, it's everything I think a V63 should be. Congrats!
