Here is my daughter. She snuck into my room and "borrowed" something...

I told she has a brand new Yamaha, go and play that! She just said, "It appears I also have a brand new Ric too", and she just giggled....kids......Image

Thanks to Ray, with more than a little help from Dave Pascoe, I finally have my 4080. Today, it saw its first real action:

Sounding like them is hard enough sometimes, we're definitely not trying to look like them as well Image

Actually Ian's doubleneck guitar was just back from being repaired following an accident that was spookily similar to what happened to Alex's original doubleneck.

Thanks Michael - if I remember right, I think you expressed an interest in it on here shortly after I did. I hope you manage to find one soon (if you haven't already).

It has definitely seen a bit of life. The front is in pretty good condition, especially after a polish. On close examination, the back and sides reveal that it's probably been well used over the years, with quite a few dings and scratches. Still, makes me a little less worried about adding any of my own.

Just looking for a 12 string version now! Image

Hi Atsushi, cool action shot. Looks like it was a high note!

Neat bass, how old is she?

Why couldn't I have had a Rick slinging teacher? Were your students surprised?

I was under the impression the school year in Japan was nearly year round. What do you teach if I may ask?
I'm just happy to be here.
