That is stunning Melissa! I'm anxiously awaiting the rest of the photo's.

Not that Paul doesn't have enough to do , but it would be cool if he had a webpage with all his projects. I'm sure he is far too busy to maintain something like that but c'mon Paul its not about you. It's about your adoring public!

Paul, you'd better hurry and put something over here too, or there's going to be a mass-exodus from here to THERE.....

(Sniff, sniff...) I guess now that he's been promoted to "Guitar God" over there, he's not gonna hang around here anymore, LOL!

Thanks, Brian!

Like I said on the other list, you all won't have to put up with me whining and moaning about wanting a Blueburst any more, LOL!

I couldn't be any happier.... Image

Well done Paul, another excellent restoration. So hows the Capri progressing?

Melissa, congratulations on your choice of colours for your guitars, both have turned out brilliant, I'm sure you're extremely pleased with your choice!!! Now for the waiting, (the hardest part - Tom Petty)

I must say that when the Bluebursts came out and you said you'd likely not be able to get one because of some job/financial issues (IIRC) I thought it was kind of sad since it was obviously a color that you had pined for for quite some time......then when Ric finally puts it out, you aren't in the market. I'm just happy you got what you always wanted!

It's nice to have Paul as our own personal Ric custom shop......you got your Blueburst and he did wonders to my 4004 to give me the "Blackstar" I've been craving (plus all of the other neat-o projects for other Forumites). Image

Thanks to all for providing the raw material and ideas for these specials. I hope to do many more! I should mention John and Ben Hall and Kenny Howes at RIC, who've been so encouraging and cooperative in these projects!

Ron, the Capri is aging nicely in its case while I acquire the parts and materials and wait for time to complete it. Soon, I say to it. myself, and everyone who asks.

Paul, I can't wait to see MORE pictures....

Thank you again for making another dream come true--I guess I won't have to sing the blues after all, though I could naturally be inspired to PLAY them, by virtue of the color alone! Image

It's hard to believe that that beautiful thing is the same beat-up old guitar I sent to you a few months ago.... What a marvelous transformation!

You know it's a really good finish when you can almost read the writing on the flourescent tubes in the reflections!
