One of my favourite tracks by Gerry and The Pacemakers was "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying".
I recently found this version done as an instrumental, an unlikely choice you would think for an instrumental, I think it is a superb version but this is about opinions so let me know what you think, if response is positive I'll post this band's version of the Dave Clark Five classic "Because" again done as an instro.

Roy: Thanks for the Charades, in more ways than one. It is always a pleasure to see what gems you come up with. Both of these songs work for me, although I suspect that a full CD without a break might be too much of the same thing.
It is good to hear the Leslie tone-cabinet sound on the organ and the Vic Flickish "James Bond" guitar tonality to boot.
Both of these numbers are time capsules in their own right and certainly take me back to the era in which they were first composed, even without the vocals.

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
