...and a lightning bolt shaped crack in the neck that extends from the nut to about the 4th fret.

Yeah Mike, both home and cell. I think Paul must be the name of his expert luthier that sets up all of his guitars.

What's that number again? I think Ted needs the 'rods adjusted on his '63 4001!

Nah. No bad karma there. If you play live for long enough, somebody sooner or later is going to overstep the line and receive a free bass lesson.

For this sort of application though, it's one of the few occaisions where a P Bass is generally better suited to the task.

Not that I'd know anything about that first hand you know.
