Stole this shot from a band website. Don't know the fellow, but should be near Milwaukee. Looks like a Turquoise Cheyenne. Must get this for the book:

Maybe it's my lame monitor, but I can't tell if the hardware is chrome or gold. Chris at POTR had a turq Laredo at the same time I bought my 4004Cii TG. I had a bit of a tough time making up my mind way back when, but I'm glad I went with the TG

Talked with John Hunt today, and this bass is a Laredo. The reflections on the hardware were throwing me off. Still, the only Turquoise 4004 I've ever seen. He's in Milwaukee, and I invited him to the Midwest Confluence and to the Forums. He also has a '72 4001MG (like mine used to be), so small world. He's keen on the idea of the confluence, so maybe we'll get to see his two Ricks.
