Found this site about Stu. Some interesting info and also some authentic items for sale from his estate.

From the photos, and comparing people, it looks like Stu was a short little dude.

Still, it says Lennon looked up to him!
Searchers amongst my teenage favourite music. Still fond of them, but earnestly a little puzzled they are considered THIS big! But I'm very excited about this forum, and will love to read it regularly, and also contribute!

I stood next to Harrison and thought he was short, that one of Stu playing next to George shows Stu must have been about 5'2".

There are less than a dozen items, and a couple aren't even his, they're Astrid's. Letters and such...

No Lalique, Bentleys, or diamond brooches.

I thought Redd Foxx was broke when he died. Sammy D had two mil in assets and 8 in debt.

Stu did sell a painting, posthumously, to Lennon in the early 60s, at least according to Mersey Beat.
