Nice Horses Jared, Ted and Jeff.

Scott, from what I understand, Mr. Hall said something about waiting for the C64 warranty period being over before re-selling them.

He also made mention that you had own a C64 to buy one? I do not understand when or how this will happen.

Now.. horses and friends.

I am confused by the warranty thing. Seeing as a RIC warranty is only good for one year. Wouldn't the vast majority of the produced C64s already be out of warranty? Perhaps we have misunderstood JH's statement on that?

The warranty is 5 years for everything but the finish which is 1 year.

Yep, you're right - 5 years. Has it always been that long?

I think the ownership of a c64means that the PUs won't be
getting sold to any one. Sort of a similar vain to the TRC's.
I would think it might be a bit more lenient on Rick's part
to do a PU exchange , ie, you must send in your treble PU
get a horsey.

Thanks Jeff....I crack me up! Image

Ted...at least since I bought my first new Ric in the early '90's. Being made in the USA with a 5 year warranty was a big part of my decision to get a Ric.

Brian, you don't have a hair on your arse if you don't screw that puppy right into the body.

Best horse shot I've seen!

The 75th Anniversary BC LTD Bass! (Comes with a cowboy hat.)
I'm just happy to be here.

The warranty thing I heard about. Having to own a C64 I did not hear. Where did you read that? I've been watching the posts at the Ric web site forum pretty closely and haven't seen any mention of this from JH himself. Hope it's not true!
