Welcome To "The Vibrola"

Post by admin »

Please note that "Ask A Rickenbacker Luthier" has been renamed to "The Vibrola" - Rickenbacker Technical Forum. The name Vibrola was taken from an early technical advance used by Electro and patented by Clayton "Doc" Kauffman in 1932. The word luthier has been dropped as many of the interesting technical comments are made by Rickenbacker owners who have posted to this forum as opposed to professional luthiers. Overall I consider that the content in this forum is more accurately reflected by the Rickenbacker Technical Forum. I am sure, as always, you will let me know how you feel about it.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I'm for, of course.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
