New Ric pick ups???

Forgive me if this is old news. Perhaps I should just stay in the bass section.

Can you tell me if I missed an announcement of a new Rickenbacker guitar pick up?

As part of my normal travels, I found myself at my local Ric Dealer. As part of my usual routine, I was in the middle of my “ask a lot of annoying questions but don’t buy anything” mode, when I noticed it.

It was a brand new 360 MID, (with the new darker MID paint...SWEET), with 2 new high gain pick ups. They looked like the old ones, but with adjustable poles (Allen heads). The pole heads could be moved up and down (for height). independently.

I asked the shop keep about them, and he said, “hey, are you ever going to buy anything?” He also said that he has never seen them before, and it just came in that way.

So what gives??

Very interesting. There have been a few threads both here and on the official RIC site's forum about low output from the high "E" string on high-gains. Perhaps someone was listening?
