The guy that got hit with that bass, if he was drunk(and he probably was), most likely didn't even feel it. I played a gig not too long ago where a drunk was told to leave after closing time. He refused to budge, so he and the owner got into a heated argument. After being threatened, the owner got an aluminum baseball bat and tried to make him leave. A fight ensued where the owner hit this dude several times in the head, busting him open in several places. He just looked at the owner, screaming how he couldn't hurt him. Eventually, he was thrown out, but what a scene it was. Kind of disgusting to see that kind of behavior take place.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again
