The pickguard on the sunburst, I believe was tranfered to the white Tele. That guitar is now owned by Bob Warford. Heres a link to the Clarence forum...

This was the first time I saw the Byrds - Oct '68. Because "Sweetheart" was released that summer, we expected Roger, Chris, and maybe GP. Instead we got McGuinn, White, Parsons, and York. What a pleasant surprise! Clarence was using the Bender pictured, and I kept trying to figure out what he was doing. However, not one song from "Sweetheart" was performed. Most of the tunes were from "Dr. Byrds" along with some country tunes and the obligatory MTM and TTT thrown in. This was the first outing for this lineup, but they were extremely tight and professional. I think the last number was Bells of Rhymney - whatever it was it was majestic and blew me away. McGuinn's charismatic presence was riveting then, as it still is. Those photos were taken sitting on the floor directly in front of the stage. Needless to say, that was the first of many trips to see the Byrds. I was just 16 years old. About 6 months later I was offered a '66 330/12 MG in exchange for my 68 Tele & 100 bucks and I grabbed it. I've been a Ric fan ever since. I'll post some more photos in the future.
