Actually, the body shape is something I would possibly come up with...between a J bass and a Rick. But I would design it to be a neck through.
And those frets are horrible, as well as the fact the bridge overhangs. Or so it looks.
So overall I'd give it a D-.

What's funny is I know a kid here at college who made his own bass for a shop project, and it's FAR superior to the one in this thread . . . the only problem with his bass (besides the very "metal" looks) are that the neck is made to fit his hands perfectly . . . meaning "VERY deep D-curve", because he has huge hands. It sounds quite nice though.
