4005 F hole

Post by xcoyle »

I have made a deal to buy this. Any info you guys can give me on the seller would be helpful. I think I am going to hire a third party to pay and pick it up.

Ken Swearingen may have owned this previously. He's been doing a lot of dealing this past year. I suspect this one passed through his hands. Don't know about Roger Williams.

Interesting,
The photos and description are those of Ken's 4005.

David,
I'd arrange to get current photos and maybe have someone go and look at it, take pictures and call while they are looking at it.

I would hold on to your money if I were you. I think that there is a rabbit away with this one! Ebay account that hasn't been used for two and a half years, it may have been hijacked!

I think it's a scam..

Ken is selling this bass as discussed in a previous thread:

I thought Ken still had this bass. It has been up for sale on Rickbid for many weeks here...

David, be very careful. The wording is an exact copy of Ken's ad on RickBid:

http://www.rickbid.com/item.php/id=10/?PHPSESSID=e64fed317a913db4da045e9d7a75834c

Also, the User ID doesn't match the one that Ken used in his original eBay auction:
