Ken just mailed me to say he still has the bass.

Yes, a 100% scam.

Ken e-mailed me as well. Thanks Ken!

I reverse looked up the address he gave me, which was:

Roger Williams
4630 S.Ong St.
Amarillo TX 79110

and it came up Nora Williams 806-356-9423.

A Roger Williams answered, but had no idea what I was talking about. So he was either playing dumb or the real crooks were going to hit his mail box everyday! Crazy

I just talked to Ken a few days ago. DO NOT BUY THAT BASS FROM AMARILLO! Ken still has it.

Post 2500! Yippeeeeee!

I went ahead and put a bid on RickBid for Ken's bass ... didn't make the reserve, though, so I'll have to rethink it ...

Man, I paid $3300 for my '67 FG two years ago!! I wonder if Garys Classic still has a $12K price for his 4005? I'll probably see it at the Dallas Guitar Show this weekend.

Last weekend, I recorded two songs using my 4005 with pyramid flats. Through a pod xt, direct setting, full on compression.

The high notes had that unmistakable "hollowbody" sound, the lows, rich and bass-y, with a hint of piano growl.

I whole heartedly recommend everyone getting one Image
