Roy: I'm very familiar with Tomorrow. Their guitarist, Steve Howe, went on to play with Yes. Their drummer, Twink, went on to play with The Pretty Things. And their singer, Keith West, worked on 'A Teenage Opera' with producer Mark Wirtz. Lots of good stuff!

Roy, thanks for the good try, but that's the alternate version, not the single version.

There are two other songs that come to mind whose 45-rpm single versions I have not found on current CD releases: I Am A Rock (the only difference is in the cadence on ".. dark December ..." at the beginning), and We Gotta Get Out Of This Place (shift in word cadence throughout).

Paul: I've been assembling a database of info on British music 1960-1970 (groups, discographies, etc) and a matching CD library for almost twenty years.

Sheena: There's nothing scary about being forty-five years old. I've reached a point in life where I can afford to indulge my hobby interests (guitars, music, vintage sportscar racing). I'm having fun!

I saw Tomorrow (or the In Crowd as they were then known) live at a club in Southsea in the mid-60s. Their "My White Bicycle" still plays in my mind most days.

Tomorrow Trivia: If you've seen the classic movie 'Blow-Up', there's a scene featuring The Yardbirds. At the end of the song, Jeff Beck smashes a fake guitar that looks like a Gibson ES-175, although he normally played a Telecaster. There is a reason for this. Originally Tomorrow was going to be in this scene, so the fake guitar was made to resemble Steve Howe's guitar.
