Mid-Atlantic Rick-Fest 2006...fall '06...???
Hello everyone, there has been a little behind-the-scenes talk about having another Rickenbacker Fest/Confluence/Shindig/Gathering in the Mid-Atlantic region of the USA, in the fall of 2006...nothing set in stone as of yet....
The location would probably be closer to the Phila-NYC area this time, instead of Virginia-- this will be announced when more details are worked out.
For those of you who wish to attend and like to see it happen, just post here, and we'll see where it goes...Thank you!

I'm in the process of booking a trip to the States, so that I can collect a couple of Rickenbackers I have stashed. I'm looking at attending the Philly Guitar show, which I understand is on the weekend of July 29 & 30.
If, by some miracle, the dates for the Mid Atlantic Rick-Fest happen to fall on the same weekend or around the same time, and it's held in the Philly area, I promise to bring my 1960 335F FG and my 1960 360 FG Capri for "show and tell".
I'm sittin' here with my fingers crossed!

Dave,
Bugger. Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad I have not yet booked flights. Are there any other vintage guitar shows on during mid to late July?
If not, all the more reason to have the Mid Atlantic Rick Fest around that time.
C'mon guys, please, please, please!

Guys: One thing I/we don't want to do at ALL is interefere or take away from anyone else's efforts, period. I know that others have been talking about having events for quite some time, and these efforts are appreciated---and should be followed through with. All things being equal, we can always wait until next year, it's all good.
Marc, when was the upstate NY event taking place?
Dave, I'm coming to Philly for the show, let's make some plans man...

John: The upstate NY Fest was pencilled in for the weekend of September 15/16 subject to venue selection and availability, etc. I'm still hoping that something will be happening that weekend in NY State (or NY itself) as all my others are 'booked' so to speak.
