Hey Sheena, me thinks Mom is a cutie. Gives oh Susanna a run for her money. I like Mom's guitar better than Ms. Hoff's.

Looks to me as though she has held a guitar before. She may be a natural. Tell her thanks from the gang.

Sure, Gary, i'll tell her! Image
She might have held a guitar before but that's all. Never played a chord, in fact... well, perhaps i'll manage to talk her into learning a coupla chords...Image

Brought this forward so that the thread wouldn't be lost in archives by June...
One more picture, actually illustrating my two addictions - guitars and beading... oh wait... it's three - color of green as well...Image As my Mom said, it's a "Ric dressed up for St. Patrick's day"...

Cool.... Rics and jewelry! I love 'em both, but am always careful about what jewelry I wear when I play my Rics.... Bracelets on my right wrist and long necklaces with heavy pendants are big no-no's....

Interesting, artsy photo idea, Sheena! Image

Bet you can't wait till the day you finally get to play your Rickenbaby.....

Melissa and Sheena, if beading and jewelry are of interest, let me make a shameless plug for three magazines within my publishing company: Bead & Button, BeadStyle, and Art Jewelry. I work down the hall from these fine folks (I'm the model airplane guy with FineScale Modeler), at Kalmbach Publishing. I don't know about availability in Russia, but I digress …

Yes, i get what you mean, Melissa - and that's why i always wear bracelets on my left wrist and watch on my rightImage And yes, patience never happened to be included in the list of my virtues...Image
Paul, that's very nice, thank you... but i'm afraid too far from CA, not to mention RU, and in fact, there are a few nice bead stores around here - takes me a couple of hours to reach them, but still... (and when there are beads, making jewelry is no problemImage)
Oh yeah... and i've just noticed - you can see the reflection of my Mum taking picture in the pickguard...Image

Well... 5th of July still seems to be far far away, but we're preparing anyway...

Poor fella, must be a bear playing that acoustic with those short arms. (grown)

Hey is that a fella? Looks like a dress on him, and the photo view suggests a lack of proper plumbing. Reminds me of a guitarist I used to work with.....,

Hmmm... i'm not sure about its gender, Gary, but it's definitely not a dress - that's an old Exploited t-shirt (uh-huh...)
Tony: it's cool, sounds great and not loud enough to drive the neighbours crazy, but now i have to find a normal cable (can't get everything at once, you know) Image
