Interesting Item on Ebay - "C" Series ?????

Post by geordie9 »

Just saw this on Ebay.....authentic or an older 360/12V64???

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2524254886&category=41439

Seems odd that someone would be selling this already when others are still waiting for theirs to ship?? And Turquoise?? Didn't know Ric made the "C" series in this colour..

Also, with all the previous talk about setup, proper string tension and the effect on the necks, wouldn't using it as a 6 string cause some problems with neck movement??

Any thoughts??
Cheers,

Steve

Unless someone has another opinion, this is just a 360/12v64 in turquoise. It is not a "C". Turquoise is unusual in this model, but not rare.

Yep, just a V series guitar in a color you could have ordered any day of the week.

I did not see this thread until now, but yesterday I sent the seller a question to inform him of the error in the model designation. He replied that he had been unsure about the original information given to him and was glad to get the correction. However, I don't know why the ad hasn't been corrected as of earlier this afternoon.
