It came with toasters...sorry...I just don't get on with toasters, even the powerful ones that were on this one, so higains were the choice...but you know me, why have two when you can have three! I also don't get on with the capped sound, but wanted to retain it just in case, so it is wired normally for switch select, but a volume for each pickup & a master volume pull/push pot, to engage or disengage the cap. I have never used tone controls in my life, so the extra volume pots (especially the master volume) are a lot more use. The blend control now does nothing. It is also wired for dual mono. Gold 'bits' & an Accent finished it.
The push pull pot doesn't do what I expected, so I'll talk to Tim about that, but otherwise it's a real stunning sounding gtr, which gives me the sound of my 'benchmark' 345, but with a little extra available as well....a real players gtr now!
