It's not mint if it's out of the factory carton. It becomes near mint. A lot of people misuse the word "mint."

While the price may be too high, it is gorgeous looking. Nice work Rickenbacker!

I'm pretty sure most of the people selling 325C64s and 360/12C63s are basing the prices on the ratio of super high demand to current low availability.

I'd buy a clean '65-'66 360-12 first for that kind of scratch.

Yes they are doing that and I think it's unethical. It's not a rare guitar, the company didn't stop making it. It's just going to take a while for them to run it off. That's where sellers get this misconception of a "rare" guitar. IMO "rare" means, no longer in production and very few around.

I was beginning to think "rare" is a tech term that applies to anything advertised for sale on the web. Thanks for the clarification.
