Even as a non-Rush fan, I found the show on VH1 "Hanging With", which had Geddy and Alex in studio for an interview very interesting. Anyone else see it yesterday?

I actually watched that on YouTube. It was a very good show, though I wish they might've talked about specific albums more, like why they all have bad memories of the "Grace Under Pressure" recording sessions . . . but yeah, it was a very good interview.

New album new album new album . . . let's hope the sound quality is better than on Vapor Trails . . . and let's hope for a remaster of Vapor Trails as well.

Or perhaps a double issue: new stuff plus remastered VT. that might be more cost effective.

I think we'll be lucky to see that album by autumn, but at least the composition has started:

Don't know about the music, but those guys are sure eating & drinking well at the moment!

They showed an interesting video, the same song being performed at various times through their career. Funny to see the hairstyles and fashions change (they, like a lot of folks, looked funny in "totally '80's" garb). And they'd focus on G.L., different basses fading in and out. The Fender looked drab next to the Rick. And that headless thing!
You've all probably seen this, but first time for me, very interesting.

For anyone who is interested and hasn't already seen this: Neil Peart Update

In amongst many other things, an update on progress on the new album from a very upbeat sounding Mr Peart.

Very intellectual update letter from NP.

Now I know why his lyrics are the way they are.
