I love the bass but the only thing that I noticed is that it was a little more "blue" and a little less "burst" compared to others I have seen....

Those pics are completely unreliable. I won't believe anything until I see a close up of that alleged walnut headstock.

Congrats. Yes, I noticed it had more blue. How is back, does it show more burst than blue?
The headstock is gorgeous.

Yeah...it's a nifty little feature. The SN says it was built in the 2nd week of 2006....

Very pretty bass! Blueburst does vary from instrument to instrument as does FG and the other bursts. Some I've seen were very even and others had sharp contrasts - nearly white in the center. I prefer the even ones, like yours. Congrats!

I prefer the more subtle BlueBurst fade as well. Great looking bass!
