The elusive Chris Squire 21 fret mapleglo
"Knowledge is Power"
Ok, look at this one from the wallpaper years.
Is his headpiece clamped on? Or is it some kind of capo? Is it his RM or the 21 fret 4001? Could it be proof of the "broken off headpiece" legend?

Also check out the Tele/P-bass backup lying on his amp.

Never seen that second one before. In the small glimpse you get of the bass just after they start, it looks bound, so I'm presuming it's a 4001.
Wonder what that thing is?
John Hall makes reference to repairing the repair of the broken headstock somewhere on the official RIC forum, but I'm sure it was the RM. I'll try and find the thread & post a link.

Excellent!! Never saw footage of the 21 fretter 'til now. And a pretty cool video too. That Beyond And Before one is really intriguing though. The "clamp" for lack of a better word. Interesting theory if it was holding a crack until he could get it in for repairs??? Why not just use the Tele???

Here's another vid where he was actually playing the Tele. It looks to be modded with 2 pickups. I wonder what the bridge pickup is??
The wife fell asleep on the couch tonight, and my daughters at a dance and Im bored. Hope you all enjoy the video's.

It's his RM1999, Scott.
Does the blue one looks like it's got a bound headstock?
It's not blue, it's Silver.
It's his RM1999. He put silver giftwrap all over it and made some 'binding a la faux' papier mache and white paint.

"Interesting though, that first video is supposed to be a promo for "Time and a Word" from 1969. I thought the 21 fretter's were exclusive to late 1970 / 1971???"
1969 is wrong. "Time And A Word" was released in 1970 and this clip had Steve Howe in the band (who didn't play on the album) so it's from 1970 or even early 1971.
