Ric Pairing

Post by dswp »

Ric Pairing..

Inspired by the "Fireglo, meet blueburst. Blueburst, meet fireglo." thread in the bass section...

When I play out, I always bring two Rics with we. With my "sickness" the Rics must be coordinated with each other. They must look good side by side. So what is the best finish pairing?

Here's my vote..

Love them four thousand and ones! Don't tell me: the Jetglo one is a September/October 1973, and the Fireglo one is a 1978/79. Am I right?
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Sergio, you are amazing! The fireglo is a March '79, the Jetglo is an August '73. I'm sure you would have been exact if it wasn't impossible to see the checkered binding in that picture. You can see it in this one.
