Need early Rickenbacher Bakelite tuner

Post by radioactive »

Help.. Need a single Bass side tuner for an early Rickenbacher Bakelite. These are the metal 5 sided knobs seen on early Bakelites and Silver Hawaiians, ususlly those in the 1935-37 period.
Only need that one single Bass tuner, but will buy or trade for whatever you have.
Thanks very much!

Rob,
I think I have what you're looking for. They are almost impossible to find. If you are actually planning to play the guitar, I suggest you remove and save these tuners. They are very fragile and don't stand up to much use. The Grover butter bean repros are a good replacement.
Give me a few days to find it.
I'll get back to you.

I think I found the last one in the western hemisphere. Maybe not.
Just to be sure post a pic of what you need.

I might have what you're looking for.
Post a photo of the back of your headstock.
