John, no, I got it from a collector in Buffalo on eBay. Nice guy, Tony Capizzi. He also has an actual 63 leftie Hofner a few numbers away from Sir Paul's. May have been only a few lefties made that year. He's a big Beatle memorabilia collector.

The Blueburst Hofners are kinda strange. In daylight (above) it glows. In dim light, it looks muddy, almost black. I'm sure it's the high blue to ultraviolet light in sunlight that sets it off.

Hey Jared,

No, we don't have sun nor does Portland. Just a lot of rain...A LOT OF RAIN!. Gray skies and somber moods.

Pass the word.

Yeah, pass the word about rain so people will stop moving here and we can still have our nice open spaces.

But in reality, we have sun, especially during this time of year and summer. Might be 80 later this week in portland. It just rains lots in early spring, late fall, and all winter.

The BBR looks great on your bass Alisha! I bet it plays and sounds really nice too. We should have a portland/seattle area confluence and have a complete band with BBR's on stage somewhere. Image I've got a 330/12 BBR so I can play rhythm guitar.

Greg! Love the idea. I can see it now: "Coming to you live on stage, The Bluebursts!" Thank you, we'll be here all week. Tip your waitress.

Beautiful couple, Alisha!

Yeah...zooey is a cutey. 15 lb terror. Just turned 2. I can't find a vet in the world who will tell me what type of dog she is. All I get is "daschund and something else".
