What a fantastic day. Too tired for everything, but....

A massive, massive thanks to Mike & Becky from Rics'R'Us, not only for organising the whole event, but also for providing a top class venue & a top class roast meal & sweet.

A charity raffle was held, which raised £165 for breast cancer. Prizes included a £100 Rics'R'Us voucher, a Ric strap, several T shirts (including a Rampant Carnivores embroidered polo shirt & a Janglebox T shirt), a forum mug & several other prizes...thanks to all.

Peter & Graham for their impressive (to say the least) collections of the worlds finest gtr deserve special thanks, as well as my Carnivore comrades in arms, Eric & Kit, for not flinching when I suggested that we drive to Birmingham to play! Thanks also to John for bringing the Paul Weller gtr.

This was a totaly professional event, organised by a totaly professional chap & one that did the good name of Rickenbacker justice...Thanks Mike & Becky.

Lyndsay came over for the event & you're all welcome next year. It was a real joy to see Lyndsay again, he really is one of the forums true gentlemen. We had someone from Spain come over especially for this as well & was very welcome.

Crikey!! What a fantastic looking event! Congratulations to everybody for their organization and attendance. The charity raffle was a wonderful idea and I hope that it becomes a feature of all confluences.

It looks like a confluence that I really would have enjoyed. I counted no less than six lefty Rics, including a lefty 4005.

Looks like the Brit confluence has mostly 6 stringers where as the US has mostly basses.

Well a great day was had by all, I must publicly pass on my thanks to Tony, Kit and Eric of the Rampant Carnivores for a traveling to Birmingham and performing a cracking set, to Graham and Peter for showing off their great collections, and to John Wratten for bringing Paul Weller's old 330.

Special praise to Lindsay for making the trip from the States and to Julio and Maria for coming from Spain for the weekend.

To all those people who purchased charity raffle tickets and helped raise over £165 ($300) for Breast Cancer Care, a charity very close to both myself and my wife.

And to Peter for helping publicise the event on his fabulous forum.

Finally, to all the staff at Villa Park for providing a great venue, facilities and food during the day, it was mentioned that it was the best entertainment seen at Villa Park all season!
