Yeah, Not only did she respond we had like really long messages. Talked about her ric and her 12 strings and a few things like that. Was pretty kool.

Maybe I can persuade an ex-girlfriend of mine, Micaela (=Michelle) to post some comments under this thread. She is 41 and an unbelievably accomplished bass player, even though she's never been in a band or taken formal bass playing lessons. She plays a late '80s Music Man, but would like to find a fretless 4001. Too bad she's never wanted to pursue a career in music, really.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
