That's the $100,000 dollar question. I went to the Atlanta Bass Gallery & he didn't even know they were coming out. Ampeg isn't doing a great marketing job with this one...

I just picked one up for $595.00 delivered. Great amp!! Good tones straight out of the box. Has a 12AU7 tube in the preamp, and a 1" high efficiency tweeter. Mine even came complete with "pop out" casters. Has a kinda cool feature, 2 jacks in the back for the speaker. One choice is the speaker alone, and the other is the speaker and the piezo tweeter. Simple and smart. Very, very cool retro look. The diamond blue covering is awsome. I'll really put her through the paces this weekend and post the results. Im very pleased. Here's some pics:

Hope this is helpful for someone looking for info on these.

One more thing is the control layout. Its the same as the B100R except there's an XLR line out, and a knob to adjust the output level of the signal at the XLR line out jack and the level of the phones jack. all on the control panel right where you need them.

Would I be correct in assuming it's a 200 watt amp?

It's not even on their website yet.

Congrats on the amp, Scott. Where did you purchase it?
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Scott- you have inspired me to get a B200R since reading your posts. I have been totally satisfied with my B100r/sansamp combo but wanted just a little more so..... I emailed Chuck Levins and enquired about the price you posted and they said the price was $550 and the rest was dependant on shipping so..... knowing that Musicians Friend does price matching and free shipping, I told them to send me one. The only hitch was they won't be in until the end of May, but I already knew that going in. Just wanted to pass along this info for anyone else thats interested.

You wont be dissapointed. I also picked up one of theses:

http://www.tukicovers.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=1_7&products_id=384&osCsid=c6b65da9cb207fe49eba1a2271065fdc

Tuki makes great covers. Heavily padded "Cordura" construction. Fits like a glove. I had one made for my Ampeg 410 a few years ago when I was playing out alot, thanks to the cover, my cab still looks like the day I bought it. One of the best investments you can make in my opinion.

I have Tuki covers on all my amps and cabs. Great covers. Get the padded ones.

Mark, did you get your B200R yet? How is it? It's at the top of my list now. Line 6 was also something I was interested, but I have heard some bad reviews about them. THis looks like the one for me.
