Genesis video . . .

Post by bobcat »

Just found this, don't know if it's been posted yet:

It mostly focuses on Peter, but there is significant footage of Mike with his homemade doubleneck, using both the guitar and the bass. Quite awesome.

Ah yes, Oxford 1973. That is some classic G-footage. That film has Watcher, Dancing with the Moonlit Knight, I Know What I Like, Musical Box, and a complete Supper's Ready. Also look for 1971/72 Belgian TV footage of Musical Box, Twilight Alehouse, and Return of the Giant Hogweed. Lots of Rics.

Although it's often called Oxford (for some reason), it was actually filmed at Shepperton, October 30 1973.

Has recently been unoffically (but with great results) transferred to DVD and is circulating in trading circles etc. Well worth getting.

I've got most of that stuff including the recent Shepperton one. All great stuff to see.

Boy does that bring back memories! I saw the SEBTP tour twice when Genesis came to the US in '73.

You lucky . . . I wish they would get back together, even if only for one tour. I wanna see them all do what they do best: be Genesis in concert.
