You can get these parts from USA dealers now and have them express shipped via DHL.

Nice one Paul! I've been pointed in the right direction. Should hopefully be ordering a new trussrod soon. Thanks to everyone for all their help. What a great community...

If it's "f**ked", shouldn't it be "s**t"?

Aren't we all glad that by "s**t", Paul didn't mean "shot"?!?Image
Good thing we're talking guitars and not horses!

I personally find language like that offensive.

Sorry Benjamin, but the language used was how I was feeling. Heartbroken would be a more apt choice of words. Sorry for any offense.

I think it could be offensive. I think the word "s*it" is okay here but F*ck is a bit over the top. I suggest you don't listen to any John Lennon interviews if that kind of talk gets you!

Look, I'm English, so that particular word is part of the vocabulary over here. You've got to remember that England IS a heathen nation.

It is sort of a tradition on this Forum to self-censor with use of asterisks. We have been good at self-policing until now. I would like to think of this as a momentary lapse of taste by a Forumite in the depths of despair...

We didn't miss it Paul. Slow perhaps, but it has been edited, partially at least.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Apologies to all! I'll refrain from obscenities in the future.

That's understandable, Mark, no offense taken by me! Best of luck with the repair of your bass.

Thanks also to Peter for keeping the Forum clean!
