Paul, when you check out the old 'hood, please give me an update. I've hardly been the past 5 years and it was changing at such a rapid pace I'm interested to know what's what. Most of my friend there are out in the 'burbs these days.

Yes, Paul, should you get to Chicago, JT, TS, BH, and myself want to meet you, please. Keep us informed!

It's not in the too near future, I'm afraid, but possibly next year (spring or summer--my academic contract is hugely blacked out and leaves me with two windows--May and August.)

The bass is now in my hands back at home.

I held it in bright sunlight and deep Burgundyglo just SINGS. Beautiful job Paul, it surely looks like it belongs on this bass. The bass lives again. Definitely worth the effort and wait, and all my thanks.

a little late here Paul, I pray all is well for you and your family. How's your little girl doing? I have 2 little girls my 1st born is 27 July 1 and my caboose she's 12 almost 13. It's certainly a challenge to have one in hospital. BTW great work

Not in hospital, Brian. I apologize if that is the impression that was given...we took her into the ER because of a verey high fever, but a week in bed has straightened her out just fine. Seven kids from her class (of fifteen!) and the teacher all had the same virus. Nasty. She's her same sweet, charming self again!

Thanks to all for their good wishes and prayers. She's quite excited to have had so much internet attention!

And, although not too many are aware, my back problem is on the mend with a brace. And have I ever got some AFG 620/12 pictures to show y'all!

Neither did I, Paul. Hope it comes good really quickly. You've been lugging too many Ricks and vintage gear around....... Image

Step away from the Magnatone! Image

Seriously though, I hope the back gets better soon for you, Paul. And happy to hear Mr. Nasty Virus finally took a walk and left your little one alone.
