Wait, why are they not producing them anymore? Is that just until all the old stock is gone? Or are they done forever? If that's the case, why the heck are they still building the basses with a stereo jack?

I don't believe that JH said he had any plans to ever make the ROS box again.

Nobody knows! That's just one of the mysteries of the guitar maker that we all know and love!

I think the ROS box was a poor seller ... kinda like an ice cream stand in Antartica ...

But I would like to plug my bass into that tri-amped Entwistle rig .... Ya Baby!!!

That should be "Antarctica". Sorry Jeff, it's one of my pet peeves.

Don't worry I got one from pic of the rick like a month ago and at the time I am pretty sure he had like 3 more. Don't wait too long though. Besides that it is really really easy to build your own!

I think JH said the Ric-o-Sound boxes were being discontinued because they weren't great sellers and you could achieve the same results from a good quality stereo cable. That's why they still produce dual output instruments.

Yes, Paul, I am. I even know a a couple of dictionary words that contain no vowels, a couple that have "w" as the only vowel, and one "q" word that doesn't have "u" after the "q".

No reason to fret (bah ha ha) on the lack of availability of Ric-O-Sound boxes. I just use a TRS cable and a "splitter" which has a locking TRS female connector on one end that Ys out to two TS males on 3' of wire. That provides enough run to connect between 2 heads and I can use any length of TRS cable required.

Plug the TRS cable into the Ric-O-Sound jack on the bass and the two mono connections to the head(s).

Easy enough to make but I had Butch at Bayou Cables make the splitter for me.

What's supposed to be left and right as far as the bridge and neck pups go?
