Jellifish Pick
I know picks are probably the smallest most inconsequential piece of equipment we use and I generally don’t go for “gimmicky” things, but has anyone ever tried the jellifish pick:

Especially on 12-strings? Might create a nice effect. Thanks.

I've got one and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it. It's a nice idea, but I found the tines (is that what they're called) are a bit stiff and in fact one of them broke off pretty quickly.
Sorry if someone from the company is reading this. Maybe I've got a bad one, but it just didn't work for me.

Looks like it would be great for picking Cheerios out of one's moustache...

The sting of the Jellyfish for me is that it shreds Elixirs. It will be hard to float this by acoustic players who use coated strings.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Every time I start to get interested in their demo tracks I start hearing too much of that wire brush tone, which I find really annoying. Sure would do a number on the top or one of those soft, non-Ric pickguards if you accidentally happened to hit it. I might try one for the Cherios though...
Anybody else ever remember being so broke that you were picking with the torn-off corner of a matchbook?

That R me - at least in the current configuration (they change so quickly these days). Merely a look-alike in the movie. I was once in the Screen Actors Guild though. Made a music video in 1972 for Elektra and had to join the guild so that they could show it. Only problem was that there weren't any outlets for playing music videos in 1972, so when they got it done they couldn't do anything with it. Kind of like the Beatles rooftop video - only we weren't famous and nobody ever saw ours. I think I only got to see it once. Maybe it will show up on you-tube one of these days. Back then, people said I looked like Zappa, so maybe this is an improvement.

Gary Usher, huh, Todd?
Pretty heavy company. Did I hear he passed on, or is he still with us?
